Customer Reviews

This might be OK for harder leather like a saddle, but for my favorite leather chair, I found that it left a goopy, gummy residue that took forever to get rid of, and it left the leather looking very dull. Fortunately, I tested it on the corner of the ottoman and didn't use it on the entire chair. Instead, I tossed it out, bought "Leather CPR", which for my chair, gave a superior result.

used it on hartman bags (natural leather) that had become hard over time. Hartman specifically recommends not to use any product on their natural leather bags as there is a risk of darkening, setting in dirt etc. I used this product, turn it from a light brown into a deep dark, but then over a week it lightened up to nearly the original color while making the leather soft again. Great! Did not work the same on a buffalo furniture leather chair, permanently darkened the leather, so testing is paramount!
