Customer Reviews
I've been a fan of Bick 4 leather conditioner and have been its champion for years. I've applied it to anything that is leather (briefcases, bags (messenger, laptop), jackets, pipe bags, leather tobacco pouches, etc.). I also have a few boots (and "regular" shoes) and that is where it is mostly applied to. I recently ran out of Bick 4 which forced me to hit my local store. Just my luck, they ran out of it. The sales clerk suggested I use Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP and Leather Oil. He explained to me how the product worked. I was extremely apprehensive about this product at first. It did cost a little bit more than the Bick 4. However, I took a gamble and purchased both products. After carefully following the instructions, I applied both LP and Leather Oil to all my boots, jackets and leather bags and brief cases. I was amazed with the result. I could really see and feel the difference. Unlike Bick 4, Obenauf's not only conditions the leather, it also repels water. It even removed the scuff marks that were on my briefcase. It may have cost me a pretty penny for both, but it was worth it. THIS STUFF REALLY WORKS! A word of caution though, it did make the colors on some of my shoes and other leather items darker. Bick 4 has served me well over the years. However, it's time to move over and say hello to my new friend - OBENAUF'S.
This is some of the best leather threatment you can buy. It soaks in and it will darken the leather sightly but just do a small test and see it is darkens too much but be sure to let it soak in and dry completely and you will be pleased.
